CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND BOARD MEMBER
Tim Whelan has served as WTG’s Chief Executive Officer since June 2016 and he has been a director of the company since March 2015. Prior to WTG he led an executive consulting practice advising the C-suite on merger and acquisition execution and strategic operational improvements.
From 1999-2013 he served at IPC Systems, Inc., a provider of mission critical communication solutions to the Financial Services sector. While at IPC, he was the Chief Financial Officer and subsequently, President and Chief Operating Officer. He helped IPC grow revenues from $200 million to over $500 million and expanded its presence internationally through organic expansion and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Whelan led IPC through 4 separate ownership periods which included various capital structures and private equity ownership.
Tim was appointed to the Board of Directors of Edgewater Technologies, a provider of IT consulting services in March 2016, and serves on its Audit Committee. Tim is a CPA and started his career at Ernst and Young following 4 years of service as a United States Naval Officer. Tim received a BS in Accounting from Villanova University.
PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Paul Genova is WTG’s President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the company’s overall business operations.
Paul joined WTG in 2003 as chief financial officer. Prior to his role as President and Chief Operating Officer, Paul held positions as a company Director and Interim Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining WTG, Paul held positions as Chief Financial Officer of Wilson Logistics and senior audit manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he worked with technology and manufacturing companies.
Paul is a CPA and has a degree in accounting from Manhattan College.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT GLOBAL SALES AND MARKETING
Joseph Debold is WTG’s Senior Vice President of global sales and marketing, responsible for the sales and marketing strategy and support for WTG product lines.
Joe brings strong sales leadership experience to WTG, having previously served as vice president, sales and business development at EXTOL International, and founder and president of Camelot Inc. Consulting. His background includes a variety of senior management positions at technology companies, including Candle Corporation (acquired by IBM), Relavis Corporation and Worldtalk(acquired by Axway).
A MBA graduate of Fordham University Gabelli School of Business and BA from Manhattan College, Joe resides in Westchester County New York.
